My parents are out of town and we are dog watching this weekend. I thought this would be the perfect time to take some figures and dolls over and photograph them.

My parents have a nice big back yard which turned out to be pretty nice for taking photos. They have a rock pile, wood pile and a flag pole. They also have a fire place and the mantel turned out to be a nice spot too.

Yes, I uploaded quite a bit, but looking at how many pics I took, it really is small in comparison.

I am working on customizing a few new dolls so hopefully they will be done in the comings months. I have two that I really want to get done. I take it slow so I enjoy it and don't get burnt out.

When I do manage to bring out the camera, which seems less and less, I usually take a large amount of photos. Today, when taking pictures of the Kiss dolls and the ferrets, I took about 200 photos. This was all in the span of 30-45 minutes. Some shots are insurance shots to make sure it worked and others are slight variations of angles or lighting.

The hardest part for me is narrowing down which ones make the cut and which ones don't. Not everything is uploaded and some things are uploaded in different spots. A a majority of the ferret pictures went on facebook. None of the kiss ones went there. A few ended up here. I was not happy with any of the Paul shots and will have to think of a way to make it work for the next time. Does anybody else struggle with photo selections?

I suppose this is a first as I have never written a journal on here before.

I have been doing some custom Blythes. They are 1/6 dolls with silly large heads. As you can tell, I have an Ace Frehley, a Peter Criss and a 10th doctor. They all could use a bit more work. I gave them new eyes, new hair and outfits! I had mod some outfits to make them work for Kiss. I guess most Blythe collectors are not into Kiss. The Doctor needs some glasses.

I have a few more nude Blythe dolls waiting to be worked on. In fact, I am working on the face for another Ace doll as well. I am also working on some "regular" 1:6 heads. I bought sculpts and am in the process of painting them. It is enjoyable and I am not rushing myself so who knows what will get done or when.

I took all the pictures of the 10th Doctor yesterday because Mr. Tennant is going to be at comic-con! I apologize to all of you who are getting spammed with these photos. I say that in jest because I doubt many, if anybody, watches me.
